Our story
Inspired by Armani
Armani’s journey changed forever at nearly seven months old when she went into septic shock from a severe MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) infection and the flu. This led to multi-organ failure, a brain infection, seizures, severe pneumonia, a cardiac arrest, and an 18-minute resuscitation. Against all odds, she survived, but the life-saving ventilator left behind severe lung damage and subglottic tracheal stenosis (a narrowing of the airway below the vocal cords and above the trachea).
Now almost three years old, Armani still fights daily respiratory battles, but she carries them all with a brilliant smile—a true warrior princess. Before this app, every doctor visit began with How has she been? and the honest answer was always scattered between memory, a camera roll, and notes typed half-asleep. Good days blurred into hard ones, and nobody could definitively track whether cold, damp, windy mornings really made it worse—even though it felt that way every single winter.
BreatheTrack was built from that exact gap. It is a quiet, clean clinical notebook: fast enough to fill in while holding a toddler, yet structured enough that a pulmonologist [lung doctor] can scan months of breathing trends in under a minute. Built out of a mother’s deep determination—for Armani, and for every medical family who has learned to listen for breathing in the dark.

Our warrior princess 💚
