Cookie Policy

BreatheTrack is a personal tracking journal, and it works differently from most websites: it does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use cookie-free Umami analytics to understand general site visits; it does not receive the contents of your symptom logs or contact messages.

Browser storage we do use

Instead of sending your information to a server, the app stores your symptom entries in your own browser's local storage on your own device. This is what makes it possible to keep a log without any account, sign-up, or internet connection to a database. This storage stays entirely on your device — it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

A small amount of local storage may also be used to remember simple interface preferences, such as the light or dark appearance, so the app feels consistent between visits.

Clearing your data

You can erase everything at any time: use the delete controls inside the app to remove individual entries, or clear your browser's site data to wipe the log completely. Once cleared, the entries are gone for good — there is no backup copy of symptom logs on our side. Messages sent through the contact form are stored separately and are not removed by clearing your browser.
